Our Process

Become familiar with us.

Thanks for stopping by! Take a look around our site. Look at our collections, projects, and cabinet catalogue to see the level of care we take to bring your kitchen to life.

Get an estimate.

Fill out a Cabinetry Inquiry Form for a complimentary estimate.

If the estimate works within your budget and you would like to continue, we will send you an request for the cabinetry design deposit. Cabinetry design deposits are 10% of the cabinetry estimate and will be applied toward your purchase. This deposit covers cabinet design and consultation and is non-refundable should you choose not to order.

Let us get to know you and what you are looking for.

The following information will be required for the intake call with the design team.

  • Contact information: Name, phone number, email address, and shipping address.

  • Budget: We want to work within your budget and bless you with a beautiful kitchen, not an over budget invoice.

  • Cabinetry Collection: Which cabinets do you want; Shaker, English, or Mill House Collection?

  • Finishes: Select your paint color and/or wood finish. We will make Cabinet Samples available to help you with this decision.

  • Fixtures: Tell us what you would like to have for hardware, drawer features, door add-ons, etc.

  • Measurements: If your project is new construction, or you have the dimensioned plans of the space, those plans will work wonderfully. If you do not already have dimensioned plans.

  • Pictures: Take pictures! Lots of them. We want to see everything you have to show us.. Label each picture with what it is showing. (For example: “wall facing the patio”)

  • Appliances: Select your appliances and sink(s). Determine the appliances you would like in your kitchen. We will work with whatever you choose as long as product specifications including model and measurements are sent to us.

  • Mechanical Locations: Take note of any vents, electrical outlets, or plumbing locations. If remodeling, indicate whether you want to change appliance and/or sink locations. Please confirm that these changes are possible with the person who will be doing the work.

  • Dream board: A wish list and photos where possible will really help and links to Pinterest boards or Instagrams pages are useful too.

Design your space.

Once your non-refundable deposit has been received, we will contact you to schedule a call for your design meeting. The purpose of this call is to discuss needs and desires so your designer is able to create the perfect space for you. We will need the items listed above to prepare for this meeting so the designer can provide a detailed drawing of your kitchen using SketchUp.

Check the measurements.

Once your initial design has been received and reviewed, we will provide numbered drawings and a corresponding parts list. We will also schedule a final design meeting to discuss any revisions needed for your space.

This is important: Review your drawings and confirm all measurements and dimensions are correct.

The Brass + Ivory Cabinetry is not responsible for inaccurate measurements. All cabinetry is non-returnable and non-refundable.

Finalize your design and review pricing.

Once you approve design and accept your quote, we will send an invoice to remit payment for the next 40% of the total cost. This payment is required to order materials. Once payment is received, your cabinetry order will be placed. Once your cabinetry is finish, we will send an invoice to the next 40% of the quoted price.

If needed, revisions are available at our hourly rate, are non-refundable and will not be applied toward your cabinetry purchase.  The revisions will begin after revision payment is received.
